Sculpting is not simply my passion, but it’s the most exquisite form of art that motivates me to keep the deceased strong and extant for years. I believe my craftwork is a medium that unites people from various nations and traditions; something that represents the culture of my state, the purpose behind the artistry and the dexterity of the constructed model. The inquisitiveness to understand a public figure is what people yearn for. With my willingness to create the figures with every minor detailing and forming a realistic look with the help of computer-generated designs, I develop them into a 3-dimensional figure to present the most lifelike sculpture.

I am Lakshyajit Bora, an ardent painter and sculptor from North-East India. Since childhood, I’ve been inclined towards molding and carving objects of different shapes and sizes and followed works of the global giants in this field, which influenced me to take up this art professionally. Followed by pursuing a Master’s degree in Fine Arts and a specialization in painting from the IKS University, I’ve made several huge contributions in this field. Till now, I have crafted and experimented using clay, bronze, steel and glass fiber. Most of my projects are monumental and statues, which include computer-generated designs and laser cutting technology. My works are mostly influenced by the symbols and traditions of Assam and North-East India. From a very young age, I’ve been participating in several workshops and seminars from related fields, which includes a 4 day international camp at Kalavart Nyas, Ujjain. My artwork has been exhibited at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakhetra Museum, Guwahati in 2016. A few of my celebrated works are the Birsa Munda statue, Fountain Pen sculpture, the statue of Mermaid and Mural. Currently, I’m associated with Royal Global School & University as a Drawing and Painting Teacher for the past 8 years.
